Summer Makeup Tutorial

Its summer time! I know 75% of the year is like summer here in the Philippines, since our country is a tropical one. But during this time of the year it gets more humid. About a week ago I did a makeup tutorial on YouTube for summer makeup. I first uploaded a video on my channel last year, and I cant believe it has been a year and I haven't updated my channel yet. I don't know, maybe I just got lazy... :D BUT I will surely upload videos more often now. Actually I already filmed 2 tutorials(Formal event make up&Sock bun hair), I am just having problem on rendering it. Its probably gonna be up next week. So if want to, you could subscribe to my channel

Anyway, This look is perfect during summer or spring time. This will absolutely look gorgeous during the day time especially when the sun hits you face (just don't forget to wear sunscreen!).

Here are some snapshots of the video:

I used super affordable makeup. :D Here is the list:

Review on: Careline Oil Control Blush-on.

Isn't it nice to have a blush-on that gives you a natural looking pinkish cheeks? Well for me it is :) That's why I decided to create a blog entry about this product.

Careline is a sister company of  Ever Bilena, and I think careline caters on Teenage girls like Allue of Sansan, which is another awesome makeup brand.

This is what the sales lady gave me (Pinkish Blush), even if I asked for the charming pink shade. Anyway they looked exactly the same maybe this was just mislabeled? I'm really not sure.s Btw, this came with a puff, which is not that ideal for blush-on application but I still use the puff in setting my foundation with a powder, it does a wonderful job :)

As for the ingredient and other info. here is a photo of the back packaging.

             My thoughts on this product

Good:
  • I really like the packaging because its small and compact.
  • I also like this shade which shows up naturally in my skin.
  • Doesn't have a nasty smell.
  • Cheap! This is only Php 80.00 roughly $2.
  • As for the oil control I'm not really sure if it does controls my oil build up, but it stayed on my cheeks all day long.
  • Available in 711, leading drugstore and mall nationwide.
Bad:
  • None actually.
Rating: 10/10

If you are looking for a nice pinkish blush on well this one great product. I remembered Ms. Say once said that this reminds her of ELF's blush-on in shy. :) Hope you found this helpful. Thank you so much for reading!

Review: Careline Mineral Blush-on 2

Hi everyone! I'm back for a new product review. I've been hunting for a good contouring powder for the past I guess... 3 months now. But I don't want to spend too much on it. But then I ended up spending too much because all of the products that I bought disappointed me.

You might be asking why am I currently obsessed with contouring? It's because it really makes a huge difference in your face. It makes it more defined and polished :D

Let's now talk about this product. As it says in that packaging it is a mineral blush-on and its by Careline the sister brand of Ever Bilena. This product contains shimmer which I don't like because I prefer a matte finish, but then still I purchased it because the brown pigment is really good when I swathed it at the back of my hand. This one is in the shade of Girly Frill.
It kinda looks peachy here but its not :D

Here is a swatch. As you can see the color is really beautiful.

And here are the Ingredients.

I was so excited to be home because I really wanted to try it right away. By the time I got how I took my nc 32 brush from Marionnaud and applied it like how I apply any other blusher. Sad to say my heart broke, I was really disappointed on how it looked on my cheeks. All I can see is the shimmer. :( I really felt bad that night I've once again managed to waste my money.

See that? So dusty.

But then on new years eve I really really want to contour my face so I decided to use it but with a different way. Using a blush brush that I bought from 7 11 I applied it on my cheeks by just patting it not dragging :) And Whoa! I looked nice! The powder stayed :) So all this time it was just my fault. My guess its because its a mineral product.

Left: With Flash                                  Right: Without Flash
As you can see it is very sheer perfect for summer :) or daytime. I like it, but I don't recommend this for flash photography as the shimmer really looks bad in it. As for the blush, I don't like shimmery blush but it's nice, I just not prefer to use it.

To wrap it up, and for additional info.

Rating: 6.5 or 7/10 ( I cant really decide :D

  • The hue of this product.

I like it :) As I said it is perfect for daytime and summer.  I don't recommend this for flash photography as the shimmer really looks bad in it. If you're looking for intense and super pigmented one well I think this is not it. Look for cakes! :)

  •  Was it Long lasting?

If you're sweating and touching that part much well it will fade quick for I think 2-3 hours. I have oily skin and it lasts for like 4-6 hours on my skin.

  • Packaging.

I super like the packaging its very compact very small bag friendly. It comes with a little brush as you can see :)

  • Price
Its cheap! I got this for only PHP 95. at Watsons, I believe it is also available at 711, Mercury drug and of course to SM dept. Store.

  • Will I repurchase?
I think yes, this is a perfect for daytime use (paulit- ulit? :D

That's it!Thank you so much for reading this! hope you found this helpful :)

How to: Bitten Lips

Hi everyone :) So yesterday I was just surfing the net and I came across with a bitten lips photo. I really think that it's cute and girly :) So I was inspired to do this blog entry. I know Korean's are famous for this look. You'll get this lips naturally after drinking an orange juice, strawberry juice any sort for fruit juice :D Anyhow lets get started :D

Needed things:
  1. 2 Lip Color (lighter and darker shade) You could also use a tint.
  2. Concealer.
  3. Clear Lip gloss or something like this, or any product that will give you a lips a wet lips look.

Lets begin :)
Start by applying concealer all over you lips.

 And blend it good :D

Then apply the lighter lip color you have. If you are using a lip tint then just lightly apply it all over you lips.

I just applied lightly Avon's Color Bliss in Fresh Rose

Next is apply the darker/Saturated lip color on the inner part of your lips.

It should look like this

Then applied your clear lip gloss.

Tada! :D

Then I decided to apply mascara for Doll like effect :D

See, it adds drama to the look :D

This look is wearable everyday :) But if there's gonna be 'eating' involve like dinner etc then you'll have to bring all the products just to retouch. And I think its kinda hassle unlike just a regular lip look when you'll just have to glide on a lip color and you're good to go. Anyways I enjoyed doing this look hope you guys too :) That's it.

Whats in my makeup Bag

So this is what my makeup bag looks like, there's my mirror under :D Nothing special really, just a simple black bag. I bring this everyday to school, everywhere actually :D The reason why I bring my essential products with me is that I sometimes wake up late, then in order for me to catch with the time is I just skip applying makeup then go straight to whatever place that I should go and while I'm on my way I apply my makeup on in the vehicle :D Haha Its kinda hard but that's the consequence that I have to pay for being LATE! :D But in the times where I'm early I just leave some products at home because I have the time to apply them at home.

Lets go first with my mirror :D

This is just cheap, I bought it for like PHP 30. I dont want to spend much money with  pocket mirrors because I tend to lose or break it. Anyway, even though this is just cheap I like my reflection in it and also I like how I can see my entire face, plus I think it will not break easily because it has a thick frame. Another thing that I like about this mirror is that it has a small comb which you can just attach or detach (lessens the chances of me losing it:) I know this is kinda huge for me to bring with my bag everyday but I don't care, I like it :)

Now lets see what's inside, shall we? :)

I have here my old hush blush palette then I did depot my favorite lipstick (Avon's Color bliss in Fresh rose, Ever Bilena's Extreme Shine lipstick in 711 and 712) in it and also Ever Bilena Cream Foundation which I seldom use nowadays.

Another Lip product here is Sophie Martin's Lipstick in Velvet nude and Careline's fruitilicious wet lips which is my current favorite because it moisturizes my lips so well. And a hair clip :D

Then here is nichido's True Colors blush powder in tomato. I super love this shade, it gives me a peachy kind of coral with a pink hue glow. The reason why its broken is because I dropped it, anyways its still usable :D

And of course a mascara and lash curler just to open up my eyes :D

And here is my favorite Powder Brush by ELF and also a blush brush which I bought at 711 when I was just starting with makeup (1 or 2 years ago, not sure), I still use it up until now and I still love it.

And for my face I mix these two Careline pimple concealer to cover up my acne scars and ongoing pimples :D then I use the lighter shade alone to my under eye. And to set it all Im using Lewis&Pearl powder, the thing that convinced me to try this is the "OIL CONTROL" word down below. Though I'm not quite sure if it really works, this is my second bottle, I didn't like the blue one because it has an annoying scent. Anyways I used to use Maybelline's all in one foundation but its cakey so I don't use it anymore.

Then I have here my Nichido' black eyeliner and Nichido's girls night out which is good for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes because it has shimmer :D Then I use Avon's brow pencil and a spooly to define my brows. Then my tiny concealer brush which I love :D

And that's about it :D I hope you enjoy reading this. I also want to know what's in yours :D comment down below :) thank you! :)
