Avon's Totally Kissable lipstick Review

Today, I'm gonna be doing a review on this Avon's Totally Kissable lipstick. I'm sure you have seen its TV ad already.  Its only 299 with a free Ideal oil control pressed powder.

Anyway, I got this in the shade of deep orchid, and I super love it. It makes my face brighter and it will also look great on morenas out there.

The packaging is really awesome, I think it looks like a bullet of a machine gun or something that has to to with firearms. Or maybe its just me :)

And yes Ms. Anne Curtis is the official endorser of it here in the PH. Doesn't it look gorgeous on her?

Btw, they also have other shades like the pink ones, and red. I just chose this one.

This is actually my first time to have a deep color lipstick. No regrets because I love the color. This also reminds me of their ultra rich moisture lipstick? (which also has a variety of great shades) because its super pigmented and at the same time its moisturizing. Its not that super matte.

Deep orchid has a deep plum color.

And this is the free powder. Ideal oil control pressed powder. I got the shade in natural.

            My thoughts on this product

Good:
  • It is not that matte, so even if its super pigmented it will not make your lips dry.
  • Perfect formula of the shade.
  • Awesome packaging. Its nice to have a nice looking lipstick on your makeup bag :)
  • No nasty smell, but it has a hint of vanilla smell upon application.
  • Great deal, because of the promo by just purchasing this  for 299 you'll be able to get a pressed powder for free.
Bad:
  • Even though its is called totally kissable lipstick, I don't think its an ideal lipstick to use when your expecting to kiss someone, whether on the cheeks or on the lips because it will surely gonna transfer.
  • Only available at Avon stores and Avon dealers.

Though this lipstick isn't that long lasting, it will probably gonna last up to 3-4 hours? But if you'll apply a lip liner, it will make it last longer.

My Rating is 8/10. Relatively cheap for its quality. :)

Thats it. Thank you for your time. :)

Review on: Ever Bilena's Magic Lipstick

Hi everyone! :) This is a review on this amazing lipstick from Ever Bilena. I've been ignoring this product for a very long time, its because i don't like the packaging, I think it was very cheap looking. But then last last week my mother and I check out ever bilena's makeup stand in watson's and the sales lady recommended this one.

I must say I am really impressed with it. I super love the shade (strawberry) which was their best seller. This looks amazing with my Careline Oil Control Blush-on in pinkish blush.

Usually I don't give a damn on the ingredients. But I realize some people does that's why I include it in my reviews if possible.

For additional info. Like I said I got this in strawberry.

It still look amazing even if you wipe it with a tissue paper.
Here is a swatch of it on my arm :) Left: before wiping it.  Right: wiped.

My bare lips :)

My lips after applying the lipstick

After wiping it with a tissue paper. As you can see it is still very vibrant, I think even vibrant.

        My thoughts on this product

Good:
  • Its cheap, it is only Php 80.00 :)
  • Ideal to wear when you are expecting to eat or drink because it is super long lasting! Because it stains your lips.
  • Available in leading drugstore and mall nationwide.
Bad:
  • The packaging looks cheap (but what can I expect its only Php 80, at least the quality is great)
  • Too fusha for me. I'll probably gonna purchase the watermelon shade, because the bullet is green and I think its cool haha!
  • It stains your lips, some people might not fond of wearing this kind of lipstick, but hey that's why it's called a magic lipstick :)
My over all rating is: 9/10 :)

For me this is a must have. I will gonna keep this on my everyday makeup kit :) Once again thank you for reading this. I hope you find this helpful.

Review on: Careline Oil Control Blush-on.

Isn't it nice to have a blush-on that gives you a natural looking pinkish cheeks? Well for me it is :) That's why I decided to create a blog entry about this product.

Careline is a sister company of  Ever Bilena, and I think careline caters on Teenage girls like Allue of Sansan, which is another awesome makeup brand.

This is what the sales lady gave me (Pinkish Blush), even if I asked for the charming pink shade. Anyway they looked exactly the same maybe this was just mislabeled? I'm really not sure.s Btw, this came with a puff, which is not that ideal for blush-on application but I still use the puff in setting my foundation with a powder, it does a wonderful job :)

As for the ingredient and other info. here is a photo of the back packaging.

             My thoughts on this product

Good:
  • I really like the packaging because its small and compact.
  • I also like this shade which shows up naturally in my skin.
  • Doesn't have a nasty smell.
  • Cheap! This is only Php 80.00 roughly $2.
  • As for the oil control I'm not really sure if it does controls my oil build up, but it stayed on my cheeks all day long.
  • Available in 711, leading drugstore and mall nationwide.
Bad:
  • None actually.
Rating: 10/10

If you are looking for a nice pinkish blush on well this one great product. I remembered Ms. Say once said that this reminds her of ELF's blush-on in shy. :) Hope you found this helpful. Thank you so much for reading!
